Since Palladium is a chemical component with the chemical sign Pd and a tiny number of 46. It is a less rare material with a shiny silvery-white brilliance first discovered in 1803 by William Hyde Wollaston.
He forename it following the asteroid Pallas, which was it named behind the epithet of the Greek goddess Athena; Palladium, platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium and osmium form a collection referred to as the platinum group metals.
These have comparable chemical properties, but palladium has the lowly melting point and is the least thick of them.
